Montepulciano D'Abruzzo "Zaccagnini "
The colour of this wine is a deep crimson red with violet undertones.
On the nose, there's rose petal, camphor, bing cherry, tar, and cedar.
It is full-bodied, strong, and well-balanced with tannin and oak qualities, with a fruity component of black cherries and undertones of spice.
Perfect with any kind of meat, whether is cooked roasted, steamed or served as an antipasti selection with Italian sausages, cheeses and olives.
16 - 18° C
The Montepulciano grape is farmed across Italy, although Abruzzo is the largest producer. The area produces two distinct kinds of wine: one delicate and approachable, and the other deep and tannic. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a terrific bargain location, but the wines aren't always as outstanding as they may be. In Abruzzo, there is just one excellent wine: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Montepulciano produces wines that are dry, rich, robust, and dark in colour at their best. However, the quality is frequently poor, and the content is dull.
