Saiwa (acronym for Società Accomandita Industria Wafer Affini) is an Italian food company founded in Genoa in 1900 and operating in the production of biscuits, crackers and chips.
The plant is located in Località Pedaggera in Capriata d'Orba, in the Novese area of Lower Piedmont which hosts other important brands in the national confectionery sector. The administrative headquarters until 2016 was in Genoa. In the multinational industrial context, procurement and production are also outsourced to plants of foreign subsidiaries. Its most famous product is the Oro Saiwa biscuit.
